Women’s Day

“And they (women) have rights similar to those (of men) over them, and men are a degree above them.” – Quran (2:228)

“The most perfect believers are the best in conduct and best of you are those who are best to their wives”. [Ibn-Hanbal, No. 7396]

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “Whoever Allah has given two daughters & is kind towards them, they will be a reason for him entering Paradise.”

“Respect the womb that bore you”. Surah Nisa, Ch.4, Verse No.1

The Qur’an refers to the women as ‘Mohsana’, that is a ‘fortress against the devil’.

“The believing men and believing women are allies of one another”. Surah Tawbah, Ch. 9, Verse No.71

There is a full chapter in the Sahih Bukhari mentioning women in the battlefield – Women gave water – they gave first aid to the soldiers.

Islam has raised the status of women from below the earth to so high that paradise lies at her feet.

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “A good man treats the woman with honor”. (Tirmidhi)

“Men are the protectors and maintainers of women”. Surah Nisa, Verse No. 34

“Women are like flowers. They should be treated gently, kindly and with affection”.
